Artist Bio

Filippo arrived in the UK with a distinctly Italian voice, picked up some Essex along the way, and now has the flexibility to explore a much broader range of accents and characters! However, he’s mostly booked for his grounded, cool light European-accented English.

He’s a performer who loves getting under the skin of a role, particularly when there’s room for movement, comedy or a little imagination. His background in dance has given him a strong physical awareness and an instinctive sense of rhythm, which can be heard in the way he approaches character and timing. His voice itself has a warm, inviting quality, making him just as comfortable working with brands as he is stepping into the worlds of games and dubbing.

Away from acting, Filippo works as a technician for an immersive theatre company. Being involved in productions from the technical side has given him a real understanding of what happens behind the scenes, from the practicalities of recording to the collaboration needed to make a performance work. He records from his professional home studio and is comfortable working quickly while maintaining a high standard of audio.
