Artist Bio
From Shakespeare’s Globe to Doctor Who, solo clown shows to performance capture, Gethin has built a career on transformation. An experienced actor and voice artist from Monmouthshire, he’s happiest when stepping into someone else’s shoes or, more often than not, someone else’s voice.
His natural sound is a distinctive blend of resonant RP with a subtle Welsh lilt, making him a trusted choice for conversational commercial reads and corporate narration. But it’s character work where Gethin really comes alive. Whether voicing bold heroes, eccentric villains or medieval French knights for video games, he relishes the challenge of building characters from the ground up. His background in comedy has also earned praise for his impeccable comic timing, with The Times commending “his virtuosic and often amusing versatility.”
Beyond the booth, Gethin is an experienced creature performer with specialist training in Motion Capture and Performance Capture, bringing physicality and performance together both on set and in the studio. His voice has featured across commercials, educational content, audiobooks, audio dramas and games – proving there’s very little he won’t turn his hand (or voice) to.
When he’s not acting, you’ll most likely find him at home with his young family, road-testing character voices for the latest bedtime story. They’re easily his toughest audience, but also his favourite.
