Artist Bio
Raised in the small town of Kenmare on Ireland’s west coast, Kitty grew up surrounded by music, folklore, and a culture where storytelling is woven into daily life. A former champion Irish dancer who sang and played guitar from an early age, she soon discovered a love of accents and impressions that pointed her toward acting. At 18, she moved to London to train, later graduating with a BA in Acting from the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
In 2023, Kitty won the prestigious BBC Carleton Hobbs Award, which led to a flurry of radio drama work across genres and collaborating with some of the industry’s finest. She has also ventured into the Doctor Who universe, appearing in Big Finish’s ‘Call Me Master’.
Kitty’s natural voice is a soft Kerry Irish lilt: melodious, bright, charming, and wonderfully sincere. She also has a brilliant ear for accents! Whether delivering heartfelt narration or lively character work, she brings a playful intelligence and a true storyteller’s instinct.
Outside the booth, she’s a keen reader of poetry, a creative cook with a passion for poke bowls, a runner, and a qualified yoga instructor. A film fanatic at heart, her perfect evening involves sinking into a posh sofa cinema seat—feet up, snacks in hand!
