Artist Bio
Matt is an actor and spoken word artist from Salford, Greater Manchester, with a career spanning television, theatre, and high-profile brand campaigns. On screen, he’s appeared in The Lazarus Project, Coronation Street, Miss Scarlett and The Duke, and indie feature Legend Has It. On stage, he’s taken to the West End in Patriots by Peter Morgan (Almeida/Sonia Friedman), and brought powerful performances to Richard, My Richard at Shakespeare North Playhouse.
As a spoken word artist, Matt has a distinct voice and lyrical flow that cuts through. He’s written and performed poetry-led campaigns for major names including Adidas, Salford City FC, ProDirect Soccer, The Hundreds, Joseph Holt, Forseven Automotives, and the FA Cup Final 2025. Whether he’s voicing for a global brand or standing on a theatre stage, Matt uses rhythm and empathy to connect with audiences on a deeper level.
His passion for people and storytelling shines in every project, and he’s always on the hunt for that perfect tone, beat, or turn of phrase that brings a story to life.
Whether you’re after raw and poetic, grounded and conversational, or something uniquely Northern with punch – Matt’s got the voice for it.
