Artist Bio
Persian-born and raised in Northern Ireland, Mitra Djalili has spent the best part of 25 years in London building a career as an actor and singer. Her journey across cultures has given her voice a subtle blend of influences, with a naturally light accent that can be neutralised towards RP when a brief calls for it.
She can be heard in the much-loved AAA game Baldur’s Gate 3 and BAFTA-nominated Cassette Beasts, alongside campaigns for Samsung and Cisco. She also narrated the acclaimed BBC documentary Betrayal at Birth, bringing a quieter, more intimate quality to long-form storytelling.
With a warm and comforting sound that can carry real depth without ever feeling heavy, Mitra has an instinct for finding the emotional detail in a read. Her background in acting and singing gives her a strong understanding of rhythm and performance, whether she’s stepping into a character or simply telling a story.
