Artist Bio

London-based spoken word artist and poet, myndstate, uses his platform to explore deeply personal and societal topics, including sexuality, identity, mental health, and the trials of millennial life. With a unique voice that blends raw emotion with thoughtful storytelling, he’s captivated audiences on BBC Radio London, BBC Introducing, and Queer Talk.

His artistic journey goes beyond traditional poetry; he’s released several EPs that fuse spoken word with music, creating a sound all his own. As a Grand Slam poetry winner, he’s established himself as a standout in the UK spoken word scene and continues to headline events around the country, sharing his powerful words with diverse audiences.

When he’s not performing or creating, myndstate has a deep love for travel and football. He’s had the chance to combine these passions, playing in international tournaments in Mexico, Italy, and France. And to top it off, his biggest claims to fame include doing shoots with football legends Harry Kane and Neymar.
