Artist Bio
From a young age, Susie was hooked on sound. She spent her time playing the piano, writing songs, mimicking TV ads, and inventing hilarious fake foreign languages to entertain her school friends! That love of sound and silliness eventually became her career…Her first recording session was singing for a kids’ toy in Soho. When the booked voiceover artist failed to show up, a producer asked if Susie could speak as well as sing. Her answer? A confident ‘YES!’ and her dual career began.
Since then, Susie has voiced and sung for countless kids’ toys and global brands, including My Little Pony, Barbie, Fisher Price, McDonald’s, Pepsi (“We Will Rock You” with Queen), Lemsip, and CNN Partner Hotels. She’s known for her ability to mimic well-known voices, slip effortlessly into different accents, and create larger-than-life characters.
A recent highlight includes recording nearly 900 ABBA-style vocal tracks (in a Swedish accent, naturally) for ITV’s Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream, produced by Judy Cramer. She also sang the theme tune for the BBC One hit I Can See Your Voice and the Celtic-inspired theme for Orlando Bloom’s film Ned Kelly. Disney recently tapped her to vocal coach and produce 15 top influencers from across Europe for the new film WISH, recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
Susie is also one-half of FABBAGIRLS, the UK’s leading ABBA tribute act. With performances in over 30 countries and clients like Rod Stewart (for his wedding in Portofino!), she’s brought kitsch charm and killer vocals to stages from Sandy Lane in Barbados to yachts in the middle of the Sardinian sea. Her spot-on Swedish accent is just the cherry on top.
