Ahmed Hamad

Artist Bio

Ahmed is a versatile actor and voice artist whose work spans stage, screen, audio, and beyond. Born in Saudi Arabia to Sudanese parents and raised in the West Midlands, Ahmed brings a truly global perspective to his craft – matched by a warm, flexible voice and a gift for accents. He trained at ArtsEd in Musical Theatre, with a special interest in phonetics and dialect work that continues to inform his character choices today.

Ahmed’s theatre credits include Sunset Boulevard (Savoy Theatre, dir. Jamie Lloyd), Standing at the Sky’s Edge (National Theatre), and A Christmas Carol (Old Vic), as well as roles with the RSC, and Sheffield Crucible, where he also served as Movement Director on A Doll’s House. On screen, he can be seen in Grace (ITV), and he’s featured on multiple Original Cast Albums, bringing musical characters to life including Lucas (The Addams Family), Harpo (The Color Purple), Benny (RENT), and Artie (Sunset Boulevard, starring Nicole Scherzinger).

In the voiceover world, Ahmed has recorded audiobooks, audio dramas, and narration for clients including Apple Books, Big Bus Tours Dubai and Abu Dhabi (in both English and Arabic), and numerous indie publishers. A keen gamer himself, Ahmed was thrilled to voice characters in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage – and is now hungry to take on more video game and animation roles.
