Artist Bio
Born in Kilkenny and raised in Dublin, Ailish is a bilingual voice artist whose career has been built on a love of language, storytelling and genuine connection. Educated through Irish, she records professionally in both English and Gaeilge, bringing a natural warmth and authenticity that has made her a trusted voice for projects in both languages.
Ailish’s voiceover journey began bringing characters to life in Irish-language animation, and she has since built an extensive portfolio spanning commercials, corporate narration, e-learning, radio, animation and audiobooks. She has narrated titles including Irish Fairy Tales and Folklore by W.B. Yeats, The Séance of Blake Manor, The Women of War series and Nina Carberry’s Rown Tree Stables books, combining a love of long-form storytelling with an instinctive, conversational delivery.
Alongside her narration work, Ailish has voiced campaigns and projects for clients including Google, Facebook, BBC StoryWorks, Fáilte Ireland, TikTok, Sky, Dreams, Applegreen and the European Commission, recording everything from TV and radio commercials to IVR systems and e-learning content from her professional home studio.
