Alex Marchi

Artist Bio

After captivating audiences as Caravaggio at the Edinburgh Fringe, Alex went on to work with Oscar-winning directors including Ridley Scott on All the Money in the World and Gabriele Salvatores on Napoli-New York. Most recently, he can be seen as the Royalist Sailor in the hit Italian series Sandokan, now streaming on Netflix UK.

Behind the microphone, Alex’s natural, conversational style and unmistakable Italian charm have made him a trusted voice for clients including Meta, Sky, Amazon, Vinted, Klarna, Marvel and the BBC. Never one to stand still, he later completed a dubbing diploma, expanding his work into Netflix productions, animation and video games including Total War and Reverse: 1999.

Away from acting, Alex somehow finds time to put his pharmacy degree to use (though he’d strongly advise against accepting any prescriptions from him) and cooks the kind of Italian food that makes everyone else question their life choices.

Whether he’s bringing colour to a commercial, comfort to a narration or life to a larger-than-life character, Alex approaches every project with an infectious enthusiasm that’s impossible not to warm to.
