David Hartley has been acting for over 20 years – on screen, on stage, and behind the mic. Born in Manchester and raised in the Peak District (with a Dulux dog strong enough to tow a sled), he’s a northern soul now based in London, bringing warmth, wit, and versatility to everything he does.
On screen, his credits include Casualty, Babies, 1,000 Blows, and Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles De Menezes. In the voice world, he’s worked with brands like P&O Cruises, Original Source, Tesco, and Party Poker Casino, delivering reads that range from grounded and natural to bold and cinematic.
He once played Backgammon with Al Pacino. He used to ring his nephew and do all the Fireman Sam voices. And his son says he speaks “Shefflish” because he says bath, not barth – which honestly tells you everything you need to know.
