Florence Lace-Evans

Artist Bio

Florence is a voice artist, actor, writer and producer based in Camden Town, with a background that blends performance, music and comedy. Originally set to study Music at Manchester University, Florence took a last-minute left turn into acting after being offered a place at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama – graduating with First Class (Hons) and never looking back.

A trained composer with Grade 8 saxophone, Florence brings a strong sense of rhythm, tone and musicality to her voice work. During drama school she was frequently told she sounded like the voice of MasterChef or Fearne Cotton – a compliment she’s happily carried into her VO career.

Alongside voiceover and acting, Florence has built an exciting parallel career as a comedy writer. Her dark comedy Yes, We’re Related was selected for Soho Theatre Labs 2024 and awarded the Phoebe Waller-Bridge Keep It Fringe Fund. The show later transferred to The Other Palace, with critics praising her writing as “echoing the best episodes of Only Fools and Horses.” She’s now preparing to take the show to Underbelly Cowgate for Edinburgh Fringe 2025, with her playtext soon to be published by CNC Books.

Off-mic, Florence is rarely without her (currently nameless) black cat — known officially to the vet as “Kat the cat” – and has watched The US Office so many times she now communicates primarily in Michael Scott quotes.
