Jon Cartwright

Artist Bio

Jon’s journey into voice acting began unexpectedly after years of making a living through YouTube, where comments regularly suggested he should pursue voice work. After a few years of not taking it seriously, he finally decided to give it a shot – and almost immediately landed Philips as a client. Since then, he’s voiced characters in high-profile indie games like Cat Quest 3 and Demon Tides, with aspirations to make an even bigger impact in the gaming world.

Jon’s voice is often described as mature, a trait that developed when he was just 13, which led to him being typecast as the villain – but in real life, he’s far from menacing. He’s light-hearted, always laughing, and enjoys bringing joy to those around him.

Beyond voice acting, Jon is a father to two children – a cheeky daughter and a son who has a metabolic condition but is somehow an even bigger handful. He’s been with his wife since he was 14, finally marrying her on their 15th anniversary.

A self-confessed geek, Jon is passionate about video games, especially retro systems, and has an impressive knowledge of the industry. With a growing career in voice acting, he’s ready for the next chapter and more opportunities to bring his unique voice to new projects.
