Artist Bio
Taz is a Londoner through and through – with a natural RP accent and a chameleon-like skill for slipping into a more urban London sound when needed. Her Rwandan heritage gives her a natural ear for accents moving effortlessly between London, East African and broader African accents.
Her voice is crisp, sophisticated, grounded, and warm – the kind that holds attention without ever demanding it. She’s voiced audiobooks for Penguin and Audible, brought a grounded charm to national ad campaigns across South Africa for Avon, and performed on screen for major clients like Netflix.
Trained at the prestigious Drama Centre London, she began her career on stage, with a wide range of classical and contemporary roles. But it was voiceover that offered her the perfect blend of storytelling and subtlety – and she’s been carving out a dynamic career behind the mic ever since.
She’s a fluent French speaker (after years working as an au pair in France – where bedtime stories were an unexpected training ground!), an enthusiastic rollerskater, and a skilled contortionist. It’s an eclectic mix – but one that fuels her creativity and flexibility as a performer!
